In short workouts is very important, but on open roads and long runs is always good to know and monitor how it goes hydration.

Flow Meter is a system that will soon be available and that will tell us how much water we have. Can also be programmed to continue our rate of hydration. It may seem too much technology only for hydration, but surely this is very useful for some athletes.

As I said, for short routes does not make sense, we control the hydration perfectly, but for example in trekking or MTB routes lasting several hours, is always good to know the water with which we have to plan refueling stops or adjust the rate of hydration.
